专利摘要:
1504890 Extrusion UNITED KINGDOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY 13 Aug 1976 [12 Sept 1975] 37673/75 Heading B3P [Also in Division B5] A process for the continuous and repetitive production of discrete articles of a desired cross-section from a deformable material comprises, introducing the material F into a moving passageway 5, causing the material to be drawn along the passageway by frictional drag and, by blocking the passageway at a position spaced from the introduction of the material, compressing the material and causing it to enter successively presented chambers 9 sloped to produce articles of the desired configuration. The passageway 5 is formed by a groove 2 in the periphery of a driven wheel 1 and a stationary shoe member 3 having an insert 4 projecting into the groove. An abutment 6 blocks the passageway and in co-operation with the insert 4, which projects by an increasing amount into the groove 2, it forces the material into each chamber 9. An abutment 7 scrapes flash 29 off the floor of the groove 2 and rams 12 eject the finished articles. The material may be in the form of a rod of aluminium or powder or granules capable of being compacted, e.g. metal powder, ceramics and thermoplastics. To reduce friction between the material and the insert 4 a thin strip of solid lubricant, e.g. P.T.F.E., is introduced at the lead in 13 to the groove 2, the strip being removed with the flash 29 by the abutment 7. Short tubular articles are produced by placing mandrels (20), Fig. 2 (not shown), in chambers (9<SP>1</SP>) having no die part, the mandrels being secured to or forming part of the rams (12). To produce articles requiring more material than normal a supplementary rod of material is fed in with the rod of material F. The stationary shoe member 3 and insert 4 may be in the form of a wheel (21), Fig. 4 (not shown), co-operating with a wheel (1) and the groove may be located in either wheel, the close coincidence of the wheel peripheries eliminating the need for an abutment 6. The wheel with the dies may be indexed rather than rotated continuously to allow additional forming operation on the articles in the chambers (9). In a further embodiment, the chambers 9 in the wheel 1 are disposed for sideways extrusion and right angles to the passageway 5.

专利说明:

in FIG. 2, the same, with a shaped cavity; FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of a method for continuous hydro-extrusion of a bimetal; figure 4 is a variant of the device with a rotated profile insert; FIG. 3 shows a variant of the device with metal extrusion into the molding chambers adjacent to the side walls; working groove.
The device contains a rotating roller 1 with a working groove 2 for gripping the extruded material 3, a profile insert 4 with an emphasis 5 for separating the molded articles b from the material 7, located in the converging channel 8, successively located in the rotating roller 1 forming chambers 9 placed in ejectors 10 for removing finished products 6. In addition, the profile insert 4 is provided with a scraper 11 for cleaning the working chamber 2 from burrs 12.
The profile insert 4 can be made in the form of an additional rotary bed (figure 4) with the forming chambers 9 with ejectors 10 sequentially arranged in it, and the roll 1. with the working groove 2 solid (figure 4),
The molding chambers 9 may abut against the side wall 13 of the working groove 2 (FIG. 3).
The device works as follows.
The material 3 of the workpiece is forced by a trench created by the rotation of the roll 1, is introduced into the constriction} of the common channel 8 formed by the working groove 2 and the profile insert 4, and is compressed in the channel 8 by closing the abutment 5. molding chambers 9 located in the roll, where it takes the form of finished products. As the roller 1 continues to rotate, the finished products are separated from the material 7 located in the channel 8, and the pushers 10 are removed from the molding chambers 9 into the receiving device (not shown). The burr 12 formed during the molding of finished products is removed from the working groove by the scraper 11 as it passes under the chambers 9,
The device can work by a similar method for a task into a narrowing channel 8 of two or more blanks (figure 3).
The invention of the invention allows for high-performance extrusion of individual shaped parts with shaped ends, for example, rivets, from
bar stock unlimited length.

Claims (5)
[1]
1. A method of continuous extrusion of finished products, which consists in compressing the material with a friction force, characterized in that, in order to obtain piece goods with shaped ends, the compressed material is squeezed into the forming chambers sequentially, the molded products are separated from the base material and These articles are removed from the molding chambers.
[2]
2. A device for carrying out the method according to Claim 1, comprising a rotatable roller with a working groove for gripping the material being extruded, a profile insert forming together
with a working groove, a narrowing channel for deforming the metal, which is due to the fact that it is provided with successively arranged forming chambers in the rotating roll for extruding finished products, ejector pushers to remove finished products, and the narrowing channel is made with an end stop to separate the molded articles from the material contained therein.
[3]
3. A device according to claim 2, characterized in that the profile insert is provided with a scraper for cleaning the working groove of burrs.
[4]
4. A device according to claim 2, wherein the profile insert is made in the form of an additional rotating roll with sequentially disposed in it molding chambers with ejectors,
and the roll with the working groove is made solid.
[5]
5. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that; that the molding chambers are made with an entrance from the side wall of the working groove.
